For some reason I didn't really understand this until today -- but in addition to the Haunted House, the 5th grade is also supposed to staff the bake sale at the Monster Mash!
We don't have to bring all the baked goods (I hear the kindergarten class has some great baking parents who are planning on bringing goodies), but we are expected to be the "cashiers".
(Actually, this will be good practice for us, since 5th grade sells food/beverages at the Rummage Sale in May, too. But then, we get to keep the proceeds for a graduation party!)
