Several J-5th families and a couple S-5th have volunteered to work on the 5th grade Haunted House at the Monster Mash, but we could still use a few more Spanish 5th graders and their parents on the team. Contact Sandi (see below) to get in touch with the team.
Also, the Monster Mash needs TONS of volunteers to make the entire thing run. Please consider giving an hour or two of your time to the biggest JSIS party of the year! Contact Sandi Olson (sandi@sandiosandi.com, 206-250-8810) if you are available to help.
Here are a few of the volunteer opportunities at the MM:
Set-up Friday (10+ people) 3:15 - 8pm Any 2 hour (or more) block of time within this set-up time is fine.
Set-up Saturday (15+ people) 10am - 3pm - Set up booths and decorations. Any 2 hour (or more) block of time within this set-up time is fine.
Baked Goods (15+ people) *Drop off* during set-up times or after front doors open
Make treats to be sold during the event.
Parking Guide, 1st shift (3 people) 5:30-6:45pm
Parking Guide, 2nd shift (2 people) 6:45-8pm
Parking Guide, 3rd shift (3 people) 8-9pm
Cashier, 1st shift (3 people) 5:45-7pm
Cashier, 2nd shift (2 people) 6:45-8pm
Runner, 1st shift (2 people) 5:30 to 6:30pm - Keep candy jars filled and help booths
Runner, 2nd shift (2 people) 6:30 to 7:30pm
Runner, 3nd shift (2 people) 7:30 to 8:30pm
Clean-up (20+ people) 8-9pm - Gym and Cafeteria need to be returned to their regular condition and we must be completely out of the building by 9pm.
